Covestro AG is a German multinational chemical company headquartered in Leverkusen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The company is one of the world's largest polymers and high-performance plastics producers. Covestro was founded in 2015 as a result of the spin-off of Bayer MaterialScience. The company went public in October 2015, and its shares are traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.

The company collaborates with several other companies, including 3M, Ford Motor Company, and Volkswagen. Covestro also has a joint venture with Solvay, called Solvay Covestro Polymers. As of December 31, 2021, Covestro employs approximately 17909 people around the world and had sales of EUR 15.9 billion.
