Investor AB, a Swedish investment and holding company often characterized as a de facto conglomerate, is one of Sweden's largest companies. Serving as the investment arm of the prominent Wallenberg family, Investor AB's holdings span a wide range of industries, with a particular focus on pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and industrial sectors. It is Sweden's most valuable publicly traded company and holds major or controlling stakes in several other prominent Swedish businesses. Investor AB expands its global investment reach through its subsidiaries, Patricia Industries and EQT AB.

Investor AB was founded in Stockholm as a result of new Swedish legislation that made it more challenging for banks to hold long-term stock investments in industrial companies. The Wallenberg family's bank, Stockholms Enskilda Bank, transferred its shareholdings to Investor AB, a newly formed industrial holding company spun off from the bank. This new entity became the family's dedicated investment arm moving forward.

Investor AB owns the vast majority of the stock of Patricia Industries, as of 2022. Patricia Industries' key focus is to invest in and develop wholly-owned companies.
